| NEWS/BLOG 5/19/08 - IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT! PLEASE READ! I need to take a second and inform our fans of some recent developments going on with Heather and myself. As some of you may already know, I have been working on my Master's degree in education for the past year or so and I'm now only about two weeks away from turning in my final portfolio and graduating. With this degree I intend to go into teaching English at the middle school or high school level. Teaching positions are already available, but the positions won't actually begin until August. Currently Heather is working full-time on second shift and our son will soon be out of school for the summer. It is going to be difficult for me to find work that would fit around Heather's schedule and allow one of us to watch our son without having to place him in some kind of summer camp, etc., so I've been working hard lately to get the Shop section of the website ready and I've even opened up the opportunity for fans to purchase commissioned artwork done by yours truly. It's my hope that I can earn some extra money this way so that we can make it through the summer until I would have (hopefully) a teaching position and would be able to earn a more regular income. Click the link at the top of the page or click here to visit The Shop! Have no fear, the comic will continue to update weekly as it has been. This has been a labor of love and Heather and I have enjoyed sharing BitB with all of our fans and we have no desire to quit, whether working at other jobs in the meantime or not. As we face the summer months we're hoping that BitB fans will be able to help us out, so please check out the shop and if you'd be interested in a commission, please send me an e-mail. If nothing else, we even have a tipjar set up so that you can help support our site.
